Saddle Rash

The band synonymous with Rugby, Rum and good times will be making a return to the stage in 2011, with the first show planned for Orange’s Hotel Canobolas on January 8.

Stars of the country music scene from 2000 to 2007, Saddle Rash have reunited to bring kick-arse country back to their fans.

Having performed for the Australian Rugby Union sponsor Bundaberg Rum at every Waratah’s and Brumbies home game for three years, their popularity culminated with a support show for INXS at the 2003 Rugby World Cup.

Saddle Rash were also regulars at the Tamworth Country Music Festival performing as headline acts at the Longyard Hotel and the Imperial Hotel.

The players dispersed in 2007 to work on separate projects but have been keen to perform together again. Tamworth 2011 provides that opportunity, and their warm-up show will be January 8 at the Hotel Canobolas.
